The Consulate General of Italy in Brussels is responsible for receiving visa applications from foreign citizens residing in the territory of Belgium and Luxembourg. The Visa Office is open to the public, by appointment only.
“To find out if you need a visa, you are invited to consult the “Visa for Italy” portal where you can find detailed information on the documents needed to submit the request.
The cost of the single visa is also indicated on the same portal, which is always free in the following cases:
- Children under 6 years old;
- Schengen visa for study;
- Family reunification with a citizen of the European Union;
- Some categories of family members of EU citizens.
